We were fortunate that Jacob was recommended to us for his knowledge of bidding on HUD homes. It is a specialized and complicated process, and he walked us through every step. However, we did not have the winning bid. Had we gone with Jacob's advice, we would have! We had previously worked with another broker from a poplar "low commission" company. After working with Jacob on the HUD home, we stayed with him. Jacob's depth of knowledge of construction was essential in making wise decisions on the many different styles of homes we toured. When touring homes of different construction and age, he would point out issues which were indications of prior flooding, uneven flooring, and issues with construction of an added deck.
