My Journey
I was born in the sunny city of San Diego, California. At the age of ten, my family relocated to Anchorage, Alaska, which became my home for several formative years. The dramatic change in environment shaped my ability and appreciation for the outdoors from an early age. My academic journey brought me to Seattle, Washington, where I attended the University of Washington.
After moving to Seattle for college, I never looked back and made the city my home for the next 37 years. During this time, I built my career as a Research Scientist at UW, leading a laboratory dedicated to studying kidney disease, particularly as it relates to diabetes. Raising a family in Seattle and working at the university gave me a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment. In 2015, my husband and I made the move to Walla Walla, Washington, envisioning it as our forever retirement home. But life, as it often does, had other plans. The desire to be closer to our family led us to Central Oregon, where we now reside. I absolutely love living here – Central Oregon offers countless outdoor activities and breathtaking mountain views, but most importantly, it allows me to be near our son and grandson, which brings immense joy to my life.
Second Career: Real Estate
After retiring from my position at the University of Washington, I felt motivated to pursue a new passion – Real Estate. This career choice feels like a natural fit for me; my father was a contractor who built custom homes in Anchorage, and my mother worked in Real Estate and as an escrow officer. Real estate truly runs in my blood, and I am passionate about helping people realize their dreams of home ownership.
Whether you are seeking to buy your first home, move into a new space, downsize, or invest in property I am dedicated to making your transaction as smooth and “painless” as possible for you and your family. My goal is to provide guidance, support, and expertise every step of the way.
