Getting Your Real Estate License May Be Easier Than You Think

The first major step is completing your state's required real estate pre-license education. At the Academy of Real Estate, we offer state-approved real estate licensing courses designed to fit around work, family and busy schedules in both Washington and Oregon.

Washington Real Estate School: Virtual Live or Online Self-Paced

If you're looking for a Washington real estate school, you have two options with the Academy of Real Estate.

Washington requires 90 hours of approved pre-license education. Our students can choose between:

Why We Recommend Virtual Live Instruction

If your schedule allows, we highly recommend our Virtual Live real estate classes.

You get the convenience of attending real estate school from home while still having the benefits of a live instructor and interaction with other students.

Our Virtual Live classes are held Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. over Microsoft Teams. The schedule is flexible, and you can begin at any point in the course cycle. You simply need to complete all 24 required sessions.

Virtual Live students benefit from:

  • Interaction and discussion with other aspiring real estate agents

  • Review sessions to help prepare for the real estate exam

  • Experienced instructors who can help make difficult concepts easier to understand

  • The convenience of attending class from home

For many students, having a live instructor explain concepts and provide real-world examples makes the material easier to understand and remember.

Need More Flexibility? Take Real Estate Classes Online

If attending scheduled evening classes doesn't work for you, our online self-paced real estate course is another great option.

Washington students can complete the required 90-hour course online, day or night, on their own schedule. You'll still have access to an instructor for questions, exam preparation resources and the option to attend live classes for additional help at no additional cost.

This can be an excellent option for students balancing work, family or an unpredictable schedule.

Getting an Oregon Real Estate License

We also offer an Oregon state-approved real estate pre-license course for students interested in becoming a real estate broker in Oregon.

Oregon requires 150 hours of pre-license education. Our Oregon online real estate course is completely self-paced, allowing you to complete your required education when it works for you.

Students also receive instructor access, career coaching and assistance with office placement.
